[Company name]: how we use ForceLytics
Why we are doing this
- [Say in your own words why you are introducing it. For example: to understand workloads, to check attendance against shifts, or to approve overtime fairly.]
What it records once it is on
- When you are active, idle, or in a meeting.
- Which applications and websites are in use, and for how long.
- Your attendance compared with your scheduled shift.
- How many key presses and clicks happen in each period. It counts them. It does not record which keys you press or what you type.
- [Delete any line above for something you have not switched on.]
Only if we switch them on
- [Window titles and the full address of web pages.]
- [Screenshots every N minutes. A screenshot shows what was on your screen at that moment. Card numbers and sign-in fields are blurred on your computer before it is sent. The blur is best effort, so please do not rely on it for anything private.]
- [Device location on Windows computers.]
- [Delete anything you will not use.]
What it does not do
- It does not record what you type or which keys you press.
- It does not use your webcam or microphone, and it does not record video of your screen.
Who can see it
- [Your manager sees their own department only. Named administrators see the whole company. Every screenshot view is logged.]
- [Name the roles that have access, for example HR and your IT lead.]
How long we keep it
- [Screenshots, window titles and web addresses are kept for N days, then deleted.]
- [Hours, activity and attendance totals are kept for N months.]
How we will, and will not, use it
- [We will use it to ... ]
- [We will not use it to ... For example: rank people by key presses, or make a decision about someone from a single day of data.]
Your questions and your rights
- [Name and email of the person who answers questions.]
- [State your rights under the law that applies to you, and how to use them.]
